Together We Will Overcome.
To me, this picture symbolizes working together for a common goal: education. Life is not about the levels of melanin in your skin. It's about preparing yourself for the future through teamwork and perseverance.
I intend to teach every child that comes my way to the best of my ability. If a child has obstacles due to cultural issues, then I will work a little harder. Together we will overcome.
