    Linux Links

  • www.Linux.org For those of you who want to learn linux, or if you are just looking for a good website on the whole operating system... then this page is for you.

  • www.LinuxNewbie.org This is an excellent beginners site( I visit it all the time ). It has very useful "newbie help files" which I find a rather excellent resource.

  • www.LinuxPlanet.com A very professional Linux website. I positively give this site a 10. Informative yet warm... this site is a must see.

  • www.LinuxCentral.org A nice, well rounded linux website. I highly suggest this one.

  • www.Kde.org Kde is a desktop environment for Linux. The interface resemboles windows in a lot of ways, but is open source.

  • www.gnome.org Gnome, like KDE, is a desktop environment for Linux. The interface also resemboles windows in some ways, but is a bit more original in appearance.

  • www.enlightenment.org E, or better known as Enlightenment, is another desktop environment for the Linux system. It has a very sci-fi feel to it and is the most versitile when it comes to changing appearences.

    News groups
    and Technologically oriented websites

  • www.Slashdot.org This site is a good technologically oriented sight that has excellent news and articles

  • www.FreshMeat.net A good page filled to the brim with technological news and links.

  • www.cnet.com CNET is an excellent tech-oriented group. If you have any questions involving technology at this time, you most likely will most likely be able to find the answer here.

    Personal/favorites

  • www.dust.org A mystery in its own right. behold!

  • www.geocities.com/punkThirty This site has nothing to do with computing... It's my bands website. Visit at your own risk ;)
