Your Assignments Point To
Web Quest and the Darbo Brief.
We're on the other side of Spring Break now, which means a lot of demands on everyone's time. I'm off for San Antonio in just a few hours for three days of intense professional development at one of the largest conventions in the field of English as a Second Language education. Over 8,000 people from all over the world will attend the International TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Conference.
While the teacher's away, the students won't play, right? No classes on Tuesday or Wednesday, but Section 002 will meet on Thursday. Check the WebCt Course Content for your Web Quest assignment details. You will use the Darbo Brief on CornDancer to read three articles about education. Write a brief summary for each article on an index card and tell me why you chose each one. Don't forget the APA citation, too. I'll collect these next week on Monday and Tuesday (April 4 and 5) for a grade.
The Calendar on WebCt has also been updated, so take a look to get an idea of what we will accomplish in the next six weeks. See you soon!
