Some Ideas for Your Second Oral.
Orals are over. I think most of you are relieved. The truth is that you all did a great job for your first time. Remember: the second oral will not be one-on-one in my office, but will be done in front of the class. Here are some ideas:
1. Put on a short skit.
2. Act out a scene from a T.V. show or movie.
3. Read a short poem.
4. Sing a song.
5. Tell the class about yourself or why you like to do a certain activity.
6. Bring in some photos of your family and describe them to the class.
7. Get some ideas from the oral sections in your textbook.
I am not asking you to spend weeks and weeks translating. Use the grammar and vocabulary that you have used in class. If you need particular words, I will help. You may work alone or with a classmate or classmates. If you have an idea that I didn't mention, please run it past me. Each student should say around TEN sentences. The orals will take place on December 1 and December 3. We will use any extra time we have for review for the final.
More information about the final exam will be posted soon.
